A New Beginning

Thirty years after they first stepped on stage I.D.ology have reformed and are ready to rip through venues and festivals across the South West.

Formed in 1996 by brothers Martin and Matt Davey and singer Ann Trevarton, I.D.ology started life as Lance The Boil. The brothers were still at school but they soon built a reputation across pubs and clubs in Cornwall that belied their age. As the group entered the noughties and after a few line-up changes they recruited Nigel Barker on Bass duties who injected a new lease of life into the band. The band changed their name to I.D.ology to reflect the new lineup and they gained a reputation for being one tightest and energetic bands on the circuit. For the next 12 years they had a relentless schedule before other musical commitments and young families meant they had to put the group on hold.

The band has had the occasional outing since then but despite numerous requests from their old fan base, their other commitments meant that a full reunion wasn’t possible………………. until now.
